We update our list regularly but cannot guarantee that it is complete or fully up to date. Caring for a Pigeon Yourself?
The care of injured, weakened or otherwise distressed urban pigeons, as well as the hand-rearing of young pigeons, should whenever possible be left to experienced carers. Incorrect feeding, unsuitable housing or an undiagnosed illness can further worsen a bird’s condition. For young pigeons in particular, contact with other pigeons is essential for healthy development and for learning important behaviours.
It is therefore best to find a suitable rescue centre. If in doubt, please feel free to contact us for advice.
